Walking!

(I realize this is a crawling picture)
At 11 and 1/2 months I think I can officially say that Cameron can walk! Over the past several weeks he has gotten a new bruise almost daily. He is a trooper though and usually shakes it off and gets right back up to try again. The furthest stretch so far has been from our front computer/office/playroom halfway down the hallway. He can make it across a small room now and is so proud of himself (so are his parents!) :) He is still working on it and practicing daily. But he is really starting to get the hang of it now! I will post a video on here once I load them.

He still uses his walker all the time and has gotten creative with other things that he can push too. He is started to get into everything! Very curious to figure out how things work!

You caught me!

He REALLY enjoys these homemade popsicles! We use whatever kind of apple/fruit juice we have in the fridge. He loves it! (Notice the bruises on his head) :(

11 months...a little late

Cameron turned 11 months a week ago last Sunday. He is fills my days with so much joy and laughter and oftentimes I very tired back! He is SO ready to be walking. He cruises around our house using anything for leverage (walls, doors, my leg, the refrigerator..you name it!) He can take a few steps on his own. Jason and I will often sit across from each other and send him back and forth from mama and daddy. He gets so proud of himself and just laughs. Everytime we are in a public place I find myself saying "I've got to start making you wear your shoes when we go out". He usually ends up wanting down to hold my hands and walk. He still growing but it has slowed down some than from previous months. He is too tall for some of his 12 month clothes, but still fits into most of them. His favorite thing (besides milk) is still strawberries and goldfish. He really likes cheese too (like his daddy and bread like his mommy) He eats whatever we eat for the most part. He doesn't like to be spoon and would rather feed himself. He can grasp individual little cheerios with his fingers really well. When we go to the pantry he always reaches for the goldfish container. When I open it his just looks at them and smiles and then looks up at me with the biggest grin!

Before when we would take something away it wasn't a big deal..now he will let us know it's a big deal. For instance if he is "driving in a car" and it's time to go inside he gets very angry. A few times it sounded like he was talking to us in an angry voice.

Things have been busy as usual. For Honda shut down this year we took a mini two night trip with Nathan and Cambre to Atlanta. We had a great time and got to visit the Aquarium, The World of Coke, go to a Braves game, and eat at some fun reastaurants. Cameron did great and luckily slept the whole way home.

We also went up to Decatur for a night and visited Papa, Caki, Uncle Dave, and GG. Cameron went out on the boat for the first time and also had a great time riding with Daddy on the four-wheeler.

We went to Trussville to watch the fireworks and had a great time. Cameron just stood in my lap eating his strawberries watching the fireworks like he was at a movie eating popcorn.

He got this as an early birthday present from Grandmommy and Grandaddy and loves it!!! We use it every single day. We go on "safaris" in the back yard and listen for animals. I just have to remind him on every ride to sit down--he likes to stand while driving.
