Cameron's Room

Here are some updated pictures from Cameron's room!

His Jungle Crib

The glider that we will be spending alot of time in!

My attempt at being creative with his mirror. They are knobs that I bought a Target. When I realized they weren't going to work on our furniture I had to put them to use somehow.

I love this cross given to us by our friend Rebecca.

He got alot of fun books at our baby shower! I can't wait to read them to him.

"Special Keepsakes"

Aunt Jenn made this for us! She is very talented!

Doesn't have anything to do with his room...well I guess it's hanging in his closet. I bought this at a consignment store. It is one of my favorite outfits for him. It has little lightning bugs on it.

We are ready for you buddy!!!

Blessed!

The other night on my way to Target I had one of those overwhelming moments where I realize just how "blessed" I am. God is so very good to me and right here right now I can't think of anything else I could possibly want or need. He is so faithful. I can remember driving home from work late at night before I was pregnant with one hand on my belly praying to God about how much I wanted this baby. A few months later I recall sitting on our front porch swing and seeing a rainbow (a complete rainbow that I could see end to end) reminding me of God's promises and his plan. I can't believe I sit here now a mere 7 weeks away from our son's arrival!

This past Sunday some of the people I love dearly threw Cameron and I a baby shower. It was nice to be surrounded by family and friends who mean so much to me. Cameron has been taken care of through all the sweet blankets, clothes and other gifts so many people have provided for us. I feel like Jason and I have both been working non-stop to get things ready for our little guy. We bought our pack and play the other night and got it set up. It is now next to our bed stocked with diapers and wipes. Last night we tried to imagine how things will be when we can reach out and touch our sweet baby boy. He is still making himself very much known through his kicks and punches--more active than ever, I suppose I can just feel him that much more since he is getting cramped now.

More good news!! This past Monday at my appoint. my Doctor told me that he is now head down! He said 95% of babies stay in the head down position once they get there. He is getting ready too!
