Baby movements!
I am starting to feel our little one move now!!! Wednesday I was standing up and felt a little something in my stomach. Since then each day I have felt little movements! I have been waiting for this and anxiously waiting to feel our little one moving. Last night when Jason and I were sitting on the couch I felt a little kick--he quickly put his hand on my belly but we didn't feel anything again. I can't wait for Jason to be able to feel him/her too! This morning it almost felt like he/she was just tapping on my belly ("hey mom, I'm right here") I told him to do it again once his Dad got home from work too. Hopefully within the next week or 2 we both will be able to feel our baby move. One week and 2 days until we find out if this baby is a he or a she!!! We are so anxious and can't wait to see if we will be smothering a boy or girl with our love--we have so much to give...

13 week baby bump!
So I've been noticing probably since around 9 weeks that my stomach is no longer flat, and for the first time that is something I am so excited about! This past Monday marked 13 weeks, and when I got home from work that night Jason admitted that my belly was definetly growing! It just reminds me that our baby is growing with each passing day. My prayer is that God would continue to bless and nourish our little one, and that he/she would grow stronger and healthier with each passing day."Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you." Jeremiah 1:5
Six more weeks and we will know if our gift is a boy or a girl :)

12 week appointment!
Monday Jason and I went to my 12 week Dr.'s appointment. Our baby now REALLY looks like a baby, not a dot, shrimp or gummy bear. He had long chicken legs and looked so relaxed. He/She had one arm propped on his head and the other with his thumb in his mouth. A couple of time it looked like our little one had the hiccups. It was so exciting to be able to make out a face profile with a little nose. Our baby was 2 and 1/2 inches about the size of a lime now! It was absolutely amazing to see how much our little one had grown since we had last seen him/her 3 weeks ago. Now I will not go back for another 4 weeks (to do the regular check-up stuff and listen to the heartbeat). Luckily since Heather gave me her baby beat, I can hear our little ones heartbeat whenever I want to...it is very comforting! The heartbeat is about 175bmp. Everything looked great! We are so thankful! We can't wait to find out if our little lime is a "he" or "she", a little over 7 weeks to go and then I can start to decorate our nursery and call him/her by name. :)
So far there is a very very small baby bump, not enough for anyone else to really notice. I can still wear most of my pants and for the ones that are a little tight I bought a bella band at target so I can just zip my pants and not be uncomfortable with my buttons poking into my belly. Actually, I'm excited to be showing soon!

The mystery package!

So Jason told me I should be getting something in the mail. I got home from work tonight to find this big box on our doorstep. What more could I ask for than 150 squeeze pops! He knew that our little one had been crazing cold icy-pops so he took it upon himself to order me a life-time supply...or rather a 9 month supply! He said it wasn't anything exciting, but for me this was quite a suprise, I never would have guess that I'd be getting 150 popsicles. What a lucky girl I am. I am so thankful for my husband and our baby's father-to-be! :)
